In the second quarter of 2023, the Hungarian Android market for Shoot'em Up games saw a range of performance trends across the top five titles. Here’s a detailed look at the metrics for Mighty DOOM, Azur Lane, SSSnaker, Hunt Royale: Action RPG Battle, and Archero.

Mighty DOOM from Bethesda Softworks LLC experienced a notable decline in both weekly downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads dropped from 8.3K in late March to just 354 by the end of June. Revenue followed a similar downward trend, peaking at around $4K in early April and falling to roughly $649 by the end of Q2. However, the game maintained a relatively stable active user base, ending the quarter with approximately 12K active users.

Azur Lane by Yostar Limited saw a significant spike in revenue, particularly in late May, where it reached as high as $3.9K. Despite this peak, downloads were relatively low, hitting a low point of just 67 in the same period before recovering to 389 by the end of June. Active users saw a moderate decline from 3.1K in late March to 2.8K by the end of the quarter.

SSSnaker from Habby showed a steady performance in terms of active users, increasing from 2.8K in late March to 5.4K by the end of June. Weekly downloads, however, decreased from 2.3K to 231 over the same period. Revenue remained relatively stable, with a peak of around $1K in late May and ending the quarter at about $693.

Hunt Royale: Action RPG Battle by BoomBit Games experienced a surge in both downloads and active users mid-quarter. Downloads peaked at 721 in late May before falling to 214 by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, increasing from 513 in late March to a high of 1.3K in late May, then declining to 639. Revenue peaked at approximately $924 in late May, ending the quarter with $892.

Finally, Archero, also from Habby, showed a consistent pattern in active users, maintaining around 4.3K at the start and ending with 2.9K by the end of June. Downloads remained relatively low, peaking at 428 in late March and dropping to 130 by the end of the quarter. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at $817 in early April and ending the quarter at $481.
